Al Keith found his inner peace in music at a young age while growing up on the streets of Cleveland, Ohio. Music was a large part of that upbringing though he did not play an instrument until he was 30 years old.

Within 6 years Al was playing percussion, singing and recording with Southern California based bands and musicians such as, New York Jazz Connection with Walter Lakota, Wozani, Native Sun, Liberation, Sugar Ray, Colorblind and The 714 Band, Coming Of Sage, The Hailers, Pato Banton, Dave Wakeling of General Public, Michael Rose of Black Uhuru and The Bonedaddys. All, in one way or the other, in their own unique styles have assisted Al's growth as a musician, performer and producer.

Studio sessions led to performances on MTV’s Motel California with Bill Bellamy, The National Geographic’s 30th Anniversary Special, and the Oxygen Channel’s Trackers with Wozani, who also were chosen to represent Los Angeles to welcome and perform for Archbishop Desmond Tutu and his wife Leah.

Through music, Al found himself on stage with The Angry Bubbles and that experience with the Bubbles would come in handy as Al played and developed the role of Maestro in the “musical commedia”, Virgin Love. Most recently,  Al was a possessed drummer on season two of HBO’s True Blood.
